Job Description

  • Oversee Reliability measurement on production media to ensure timely feedback
  • Manage a group of lab technicians to perform routine reliability measurement and tester/chamber troubleshooting
  • Analyse reliability data to ensure no measurement error in the reliability lab testing and maintain measurement consistency
  • Work with process team to evaluate the reliability risks on changes made in production process
  • Liaise with QE team to ensure all the necessary reliability data are available before product shipment to customer
  • Involve and provide support in customer complaint which is related to product reliability
  • Enhance reliability test predictability & detection capability
  • Support new product tribology buy-off if necessary
  • Work with US R&D team to establish new reliability test and ensure timely implementation in factory
  • Participate in routine reliability test correlation among sites
  • Involve in IMS activities : ISO9001/ISO45001/ISO14001/BCMS/RBA
  • Support plantwide internal & external audit activities
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor
Qualifications
  1. Education
  • Bachelor degree or above, major in Mechanical Engineering/ Material science or Physics.
2. Experiences
  • At least 3 years experience for Bachelor degree or Master degree
  • Proven experience in implementing and managing ISO standards within an organization
  • Frequent interaction and collaboration on technical issues withfunctional peers (who may be at different locations) and industry technical suppliers.
  • May need to advise others with technical skills and knowledge
  • Effectively communicate plans and results to functional management
  • Good problem-solvingskills
  • Able toconduct experiments proactively, analyze problems and recommend solutions.
  • Utilizes skills and experience to solve moderately complex technical problem.
3. Contribution / Leadership
  • Provide guidance, training, and support to lab members, helping them to develop their technical skills
  • Responsible for lab processes in the lab
  • able to lead and develop new methodology.
4. Impact on Business / Scope
  • Accountable for the completion of team or department technical objectives on schedule, while meeting cost and quality targets
  • Contributes to and influences projects that are subject to business measurements, impact customer satisfaction, or affect future costs or expenses
  • Knowledge in statistic
  • Skills in data collection, analysis, and interpretation.
  • Previous work experience in mechanical integration and testing, preferably in HDD related industries.
