Job Description

BROAD FUNCTIONS

  • Integrate and analyze process/product data
  • Develop and deploy automatic system
  • Develop and maintain quality data system
  • Knowledge and technology training for engineer
Job Responsibility
  • Data process and visualization development
    • Consolidate requirements from business team
    • Write script to Extract Transform and Load data
    • Setup and Maintain Data quality
    • Develop and deploy dashboard visualization
  • Data analysis
    • Design/Develope process control method
    • Provide proper analysis method for process/product performance (Yield/Defect/Variance) analysis
    • Develope modeling for process product performance prediction/correlation analysis and continue improving the modeling effeciency
  • System development and maintenance
    • Auto system development
    • User interface development
    • System maintenance
QualificationsEducational Required
  • Bachelors Degree, in Computer Science/Information Technology/Applied Mathematics/Statistic or related, with minimum 2 years working experience. Semiconductor/ Quality experience is preferred.
Skill Required
  • Skilled in database technology like Oracle/SQL/ SAS/ RedShift
  • At least one programming language including but not limit to C/ C++/ Python/ Java/ R
  • Good interpersonal and communication skill.
Experience
  • Completed data/system project experience
  • Experienced in semiconductor related project
  • Business Intelegence development on Spotfire/Tableau/PowerBI or equivalent.
  • Data analysis on JMP/Minitab or equivalent.
Personality:
  • Quality oriented mindset and proactive approach
  • Ability to collaborate in an international team environment, resilience and willingness to learn
Additional InformationSKILLS:. Good interpersonal and communication skill.. Familiar with MYSQL, MSSQL, or other relational database design. Familiar with Python, SQL, ML, Data Analytics tools. Experience on BI tool (Spotfire or Tableau or equivalent), data ingestion tool (Alteryx or equivalent), analytics tools (JMP and Minitab or equivalent) will be added advantage.Western Digital thrives on the power and potential of diversity.
