Job Duties & Responsibilities:Analyze drawings, sketches and design data to determine dimension and configuration of cuts, machine speeds and feed rates.Prepare CNC programming with Mastercam software, monitoring CNC programs and ensure accuracy of all instructions through comparison with drawing and design.Develop work holding and select cutting tools.Create and compile necessary documents to aid setting up and operation of machines, including instruction sheets on cutter tools setup.May require to machine components for first articles or production.Job Requirements:SPM, STPM, Certificate, Diploma in Precision Machining Technology, Engineering or equivalent.4 years experience writing CNC programs in a machining environment.Demonstrate proficiency in the use of CAD, CAM and MasterCam.Capable of programming own work on MasterCam and holding close tolerances.Know how to operate CNC Drilling/Milling machines.Understand and know the use of inspection and measurement tools.Proficiency in GD&T application is a plus.Experience as a Machinist would be preferred.
