Job Duties & Responsibilities:Overall ownership of Sourcing and Purchasing DepartmentDevelop and implement procurement strategy to achieve optimal vendors selection, performance and price.Drive sourcing and technical discussion with suppliers in acquiring cost effective supply.Continue improvement of the process and procedure and ensure full compliance with company policy.Review purchase requisitions, analyze quotes, generate and review purchase orders.Evaluate the challenges faced by the business and take actions to mitigate cost increase pressure and review opportunities to make business savings.Liaise with other departments to accommodate production demand and changes. Collaborate with vendors to expedite orders as dictated by changes in internal and external customer requirements.Yearly review of vendors performance and cost matrix.Job Requirements:Diploma/ Degree in Supply Chain Management/ Engineering (Material Science)/ Business/ Economics or equivalent.5 years procurement experience in a precision manufacturing environment.Experience in team management.Strong negotiation, interpersonal and communication skills.The ability to cope with pressure of demand targets and tight deadlines.Knowledge in production planning activities or supply chain management.Familiar with ISO9001/RoHS compliance.
