Job Description

BROAD FUNCTIONS :

  • Accountable for media yield and quality performance.
  • Drive yield and quality improvement for sputter.
  • Drive sputter utilization and cost savings activities.
RESPONSIBILITIES : Regular
  • Maintain yield and quality which align to Media Operation goal and target.
  • Monitor yield and quality indicator to make sure no abnormalities and do troubleshooting for any issue related to yield and quality
  • Improve yield and quality through breakthrough in design and process set up.
  • Coordinate any evaluation related to yield and quality with minimum supervision.
  • Accountable for new product ramping during NPI transfer.
  • Identify potential of yield, quality and sputter utilization issue for new product and work closely with related parties to solve the issue in the beginning stage.
  • Establish yield and quality guideline to Operation/equipment groups to reduce troubleshooting time and minimize issue that induce by equipment.
  • Work closely with other areas to solve any interaction defects issue e.g. POSCIR, IrrPMR etc.
  • Provide guidance during working time and sharing experience to new engineers.
  • Drive or handle specific projects for yield / quality or utilization improvement.
Irregular
  • Report writing on minor or major issues, project closure and sharing session to reveal the achievement or experience sharing for benefit of all.
  • Details analysis for current issue for further understanding and generate new idea for improvement.
  • Prepare necessary document or procedure for ISO compliant and assist relevant groups in dealing with daily routine.
QualificationsREQUIREMENTS :Academic Qualification :
  • M. Sc / B. Sc in Physics/Material/Mechanical Engineering (or any similar principles)
Experience and Skills Required :
  • 3-5 years working experienced.
  • Knowledge in sputtering technology and troubleshooting skill will be an added advantage.
  • Report writing and Presentation skill.
  • Additional attributes: Patience Teamwork Analytical. Keen to explore new knowledge & experience.
