A. PurposeSenior Rotating Engineer is responsible to assist Rotating Equipment Leader to supervise the mechanical rotating equipment activities to meet the maintenance plan of Maintenance Division in accordance with established operating procedures and written and oral instruction from Deputy Section Manager of Reliability and Engineering Section.B. ResponsibilitySenior Rotating Engineer in Reliability Engineering Section is responsible to provide support services on rotation equipment to the Maintenance Division and to supervise. To perform its responsibility, minimum works are as follows,1) Responsible to provide support services to Maintenance Division and to advice the less experienced engineer in the divisions.2) Provide support technical guidance for reliability & maintenance data by assessing data history for accuracy and compliance with reliability best practices.3) Assist to establish and monitor programs for critical equipment analysis and condition monitoring.4) Assist to monitor and evaluate the plant control systems for anomalies and deficiencies, and make recommendations to repair or upgrade as needed.5) Assist to select, coordinate and supervise maintenance contractors for additional support activities when required.6) Coordinate closely with counterpart in-house organization (production engineers and planners, design engineers, etc.)7) Assist to evaluate plant and equipment unscheduled downtime proportions.8) Identify reliability improvement opportunities.9) Advise to promote and sustain reliability and maintenance program integration.10) Promote reliability best practices integration to plant operations.11) Assist to develop proactive RCM and FMECA analysis for critical equipment.12) Advice failure investigation for critical equipment, generate reports, actions logs and followup in their closure.13) Guide, direct and motivate the less experienced engineers and operators including setting education and training and assessing their performance in association with their superior and the Human Resources Section.14) Assist group member for operating and utilizing CMMS.
