Job Title: Satellite Technician IILocation : JordanSecurity Clearance: Position requires an active, in-scope US Government issued Secret clearanceDue to the nature of the work and contract requirements, US Citizenship is required.Job Responsibilities:Trace Systems is actively seeking an experienced Satellite Technician II to join our team in Jordan.? This position will provide support for installations, repair, and troubleshooting or maintenance of communications systems or equipment related to DKET, MET or iDirect.? Must have the technical knowledge to solve complex problems, understand the interrelationships of circuits, and be able to exercise independent judgment in performing tasks in support of communications systems or equipment.? Experience, to include: supervision, working in extreme temp weather environments, shop practices, living off base and commuting to and from work while OCONUS.Minimum Qualifications:This role requires Lead level of experience working with DSCS or Commercial Satellite Terminals to include:? A minimum of 5 years of experience in Satellite Communications? Position requires an active, in-scope US Government issued Secret clearance? Due to the nature of the work and contract requirements, US Citizenship is required? Lead Level "Hands On" Experience with any DKET, OKET, iDirect, MET SATCOM Terminals? X, C, KA, Ku-band, Tri-band Satellite Terminals? FDMA, TDMA, IP Type satellite modems? Candidate must display a high level of responsibility and sound decision making, a proactive problem solving skillset.? Candidate must display team oriented leadership traits, self starter and can perform in a high tempo/high visibility environment.? Efficient in verbal/written/email communication and responsiveness to include clear daily/weekly reporting.Desired Qualifications:? iDirect or DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification is highly desired.Education:? High school diploma or equivalent in experience.
