A leading company is seeking a highly experienced Chief Accountant to join its finance department and take full ownership of the accounting function, with a strong focus on SAP ERP systems.Position: Senior Chief AccountantExperience Required: 15 years max Location: Kuwait - Al SharqEmployment Type: Full-time* Lead the operation and management of the SAP accounting system, ensuring accuracy and integrity of all financial data and reports* Manage the full accounting cycle including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting* Prepare and finalize year-end closing files, complete with supporting documents, reconciliations, certificates, and working papers* Collaborate with external auditors to produce Financial Statements compliant with IFRS* Generate and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to senior management* Oversee and approve accounts payable transactions, ensuring precision before General Ledger posting* Perform monthly reconciliations for vendor accounts (including current liabilities, retention, and advances)* Supervise payroll processing, employee benefits, and end-of-service indemnities* Manage contractor payments aligned with contractual milestones and project progress* Monitor and analyze budgets, comparing actual vs forecasted, and prepare variance analysis reports* Prepare Percentage of Completion (POC) reports weekly/monthly for 10+ ongoing projects, including unbilled revenue and cost tracking
