Job Description

Strategy Manager Overview: NEOM Food Company is seeking a forward-thinking Strategy Manager to lead our Strategy Division. The role requires integration of existing strategies, identification of synergistic opportunities, collaboration across departments and subsidiaries, and oversight to ensure alignment and execution of strategic initiatives with our ecosystem partners. Responsibilities: Strategic Planning, Integration, and Implementation:

  • Oversee and refine pre-existing NEOM Food strategies, ensuring integration with new and existing initiatives.
  • Identify synergistic opportunities with key Government stakeholders, Government-linked partners, and potential new ecosystem partners.
  • Collaborate with other departments to identify and explore collaboration opportunities.
  • Ensure that any new initiatives proposed align with the agreed-upon initiatives under the various Business Unit strategies, are deliverable and align with the companys overall vision.
  • Provide oversight to ensure that the initiatives are executed in accordance with the agreed-upon intent of the NEOM Food strategy.
  • Monitor the adherence to strategic objectives, intervening when necessary to realign efforts with strategic goals.
Problem-Solving and Intervention Support:
  • Lead in the diagnosis and resolution of complex problems that may arise within the scope of strategic planning and execution.
  • Collaborate with various teams to develop innovative and effective solutions.
  • Foster a culture of critical thinking and continuous improvement within the team.
Enterprise and Economic Data Coordination and Analysis:
  • Coordinate and analyze data to derive key insights for the Department and the Leadership team
  • Collaborate on data modeling and assess the companys impact on the NEOM region and the Food sector.
Stakeholder Management:
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across the ecosystem.
  • Ensure clear and timely communication and alignment of objectives with stakeholders.
Knowledge Management Guidance:
  • Provide guidance on the development and maintenance of companys knowledge management framework.
  • Ensure key information is readily available and accessible to the team.
Team Leadership and NEOM Inter-Departmental and Ecosystem Collaboration:
  • Lead a small team focused on coordinating initiatives with internal Business Units, external partners, and external priority ecosystem partners.
  • Act as a bridge between NEOM departments and NEOM Food Business Units, fostering collaboration and alignment.
  • Build and maintain relationships with various stakeholders, both internally and externally.
Project Management and Execution:
  • Develop and maintain project implementation plans, with a focus on key milestones and clear forecast on risks and interdependencies.
  • Oversee financial and progress tracking for the Ecosystems Department.
  • Monitor the timely and budget-compliant delivery of strategic initiatives by the Department, and as a key coordinator for the NEOM Food Company with other Sectors in NEOM.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in Business, Management, or related field Masters degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in strategic planning, with at least 3 years in a management role.
  • Demonstrated ability to integrate existing strategies and oversee their execution.
  • Strong skills in inter-departmental collaboration, liaising with subsidiaries, and project management.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Adaptive to the fast-paced and dynamic environment.
