Job Description

SummaryThe Architectural Manager will provide design leadership from project inception to completion. This role involves development and overseeing architectural design process, ensuring quality and compliance, and coordinating with various stakeholders to deliver projects successfully. Design remit will range from Masterplans to individual building assets.Responsibilities Position description and responsibilities Concept Design Preparation

• Develop the initial design concepts for various projects, ensuring they align with overall project goals and objectives.
• Collaborate with design teams to prepare and refine concept designs, incorporating feedback from stakeholders.

Detailed Design Development

• Produce and supervise the development of detailed design packages, including detailed specifications and construction related details.
• Ensure that design packages meet project requirements and are aligned with industry codes, standards and best practices.
• Produce and supervise the production of detailed design documents and drawings.

Design Leadership

• Lead and assist in the selection of design consultant teams, including initial outreach, RFPs, contract execution, and administration.
• Manage internal collaborative design reviews.
• Collaborate with design, development, and construction teams on design strategy, schedule, budgets, and execution.
• Provides innovative design options to enhance functionality and to ensure that the final design aligns with all stakeholders requirements.

Quality and Compliance

• Ensure high standards of quality, reliability, and safety in project designs.
• Implement and maintain procedures for design development, change control, and progress monitoring.
• Evaluate and implement techniques for controlling design, quality, reliability, and safety.

Coordination and Integration

• Review and integrate design programs provided by architects and other consultants into the overall development program.
• Ensure alignment of design deliverables with the approved business plan.
• Interface with internal and external teams to achieve project specifications through to completion and handover.

Stakeholder Management

• Assist in managing cross-functional relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Contribute to the design and implementation of our strategic objectives and goals with specific inputs related to Asset Design Management.
• Endorse and ensure alignment of sales promotions, marketing, and advertising campaigns with the development program and strategy.

Performance Monitoring

• Monitor and report on the performance of the design process.
• Implement initiatives for improving product designs.
• Ensure procedures are in place and functioning correctly to maintain progress monitoring.

Technical Support

• Coordinating with NEOM execution teams and contractors to ensure that construction meets design requirements and specifications.
• Conducts feasibility studies.
• Oversees the approval of materials, furniture, and other design elements.
• Visiting the project site to provide technical support and resolve any noncompliance issues.

Skills Knowledge, Skills and Experience

• 7 to 10 years of total experience in the field, including at least three (3) years of experience in Saudi Arabia (KSA).
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and 3D modeling (3dsMax or Revit).
• Knowledge Of Saudi Building Codes & Standards.
• Proven success in teamwork and independent project assignments.
• Demonstrated ability to achieve results and drive success.
• Ability to work with diverse and cross-functional teams.
• Exceptional design aesthetic across a range of commercial projects of mixed-use developments. Including Offices, residential and support buildings.
• Strong project management skills, including organization, time management, resourcefulness, and flexibility.
• Proven success working across design disciplines with architects, engineers, and designers.
• Leadership skills to set clear goals, motivate teams, and produce superior results under challenging schedules.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in architectural design
• Professional Qualification such as RIBA, AIA or similar.
