Job Description

Overview Position Senior Manager, Cybersecurity (Heading Cybersecurity) Division OXAGON - Technology & Science Department Technology & Science Sector OXAGON Role Purpose The Senior Manager, Cybersecurity is a senior leader who will be responsible for the development, implementation, management and assurance of OXAGONs Cybersecurity in order to facilitate secure and effective operations while mitigating risks and ensuring compliance across OXAGON business units including (PortCo, SupplyCo, and DevCo..etc..). This role will be to manage risks to protect information and technology (IT/OT) assets from cyberattacks.Key Accountabilities & Activities Role and Responsibilities The Senior Manager, Cybersecurity is responsible for establishing and maintaining OXAGONs overall security posture, including the development and implementation and continuous improvement of a comprehensive Cybersecurity strategy . The Senior Manager, Cybersecurity plays a critical role in ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of OXAGONs information assets, and in protecting it from security threats and vulnerabilities .Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing, implementing, and continuously improving OXAGONs Cybersecurity strategy: The Senior Manager, Cybersecurity is responsible for developing, implementing and maintain OXAGONs comprehensive cybersecurity strategy that aligns with the organizations business goals and objectives across Business Units and departments. This includes identifying and assessing potential security risks, developing policies and procedures to mitigate those risks, and monitoring and measuring the effectiveness of the organizations security controls.
  • Leading OXAGONs Cybersecurity program: The Senior Manager, Cybersecurity leads OXAGONs Cybersecurity program, which includes managing a team of Cybersecurity professionals, overseeing the implementation of security technologies and controls, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations (e.g., NCA, NEOM)
  • Providing guidance to OXAGON senior management: The Senior Manager, Cybersecurity provides guidance and advice to OXAGON senior management (e.g., Business Units and department heads) on matters related to Cybersecurity, including the development of security policies, the evaluation of new security technologies, and the identification of emerging security threats.
  • Monitoring and responding to security incidents : The Senior Manager, Cybersecurity is responsible for monitoring OXAGONs security infrastructure for potential threats and responding to security incidents in a timely and effective manner.
  • Educating OXAGONs employees on security best practices: The Senior Manager, Cybersecurity is responsible for educating employees on security best practices and ensuring that they are aware of their role in maintaining OXAGONs overall security posture.
  • Performs additional duties as required.
Background, Skills & Qualifications Knowledge, Skills, and Experience As a senior leader in the field of Cybersecurity, we are seeking an individual who possesses exceptional qualities to lead and promote change within the organization. The ideal candidate should be a self-starter, capable of displaying strategic business acumen and possessing exceptional problem-solving skills.The Senior Manager, Cybersecurity is expected to possess extensive knowledge, experience, and skills that are appropriate to the seniority and responsibilities of the role. These include, but are not limited to:
  • Professional experience : The Senior Manager, Cybersecurity must have 10-15 years or more of experience, leading in Information Security / Cybersecurity departments, ideally in Industrial Environment / Port and Maritime / Manufacturing.
  • Technical expertise : The Senior Manager, Cybersecurity must possess deep technical knowledge of Cybersecurity, with a successful track record in implementing transformational Cybersecurity initiatives and improvements in IT/OT environments across an organization, including network and infrastructure security, cloud security, application security, data protection, and compliance frameworks.
  • Business acumen : The Senior Manager, Cybersecurity must understand the organizations business objectives, strategies, and processes, and be able to translate those into Cybersecurity requirements and policies.
  • Risk management expertise: The Senior Manager, Cybersecurity must have a strong understanding of risk management principles and practices, and be able to identify, assess, and prioritize risks to the organization, including third-party and supply chain risks.
  • Compliance expertise : The Senior Manager, Cybersecurity must have a deep understanding of relevant laws and regulations related to Cybersecurity in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and be able to ensure compliance with those requirements.
  • Communication skills : The Senior Manager, Cybersecurity must possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and be able to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Leadership skills: The Senior Manager, Cybersecurity must be able to lead a team of Cybersecurity professionals and work collaboratively with other leaders in the organization.
Qualifications
  • Bachelors/ Masters degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Information Technology/Security, Cybersecurity, or related field (additional MBA is preferable).
  • Hold industry relevant certification in Cybersecurity Management such as, CISSP, CISM, GSTRT and others is a must.
  • Proven track record of success in a leadership position, backed-up by a positive referral.
