We have got what you are looking forParsons is looking for an amazingly talented QC Site Engineer to join our team in NEOM. Parsons is providing Project Management Consultancy (PMC) services for the development of NEOM Infrastructure in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. NEOM is a planned cross-border city in the Tabuk Province of northwestern Saudi Arabia. The site is near the Red Sea and the borders of Egypt, Israel, and Jordan. It will cover a total area of 26,500 km2 (10,200 sq mi) and will extend 460 km along the coast of the Red Sea.Together we are delivering the worlds largest project, imagining a new way of living, and leaving behind an unmatched legacy.Position OverviewReview and maintain knowledge of Terms and Conditions of all subcontracts for which he is responsible. Attend kick-off meetings and subsequent progress meetings with subcontractors and produce and distribute minutes of meetings. Survey and measure work in progress and check subcontractors interim payments applications. Value additional works, site instructions, variations and daywork applications. Negotiate star rates with subcontractors where necessary. Identify and report potential problem areas, particularly those that are likely to give rise to claims. Assist subcontracts administrator in the analysis and resolution of subcontractors claims. Conduct final measure on work executed and prepare and agree final accounts. Assist in close-out of completed claims.Specific Responsibilities

  • Implementing inspection, examination, and testing procedures
  • Recording inspection, examination, and testing data
  • Planning inspections, evaluations, and tests setting up tests, including preparation and set-up of related equipment
  • Evaluating the validity and acceptability of inspection, examination and testing results
  • Reporting inspection, examination and testing results
  • Evaluating the adequacy of specific programs used to train and test inspection, examination, and testing personnel
  • Participating in establishing and implementing a Quality Control Inspectors certification program
  • Participating in qualifying and certifying Quality Control Inspectors at all levels
Preferred Education/ExperienceA minimum of 5 years overall experience on major civil works projects including large pipeline and/or tunnel design and construction, non destructive road crossings, pipe jacking and micro-tunneling. Candidate should have completed a 3 or 4-year degree in a an engineering discipline and spent a minimum of 2 years in the position of Quality Inspector.The individual shall be certified to perform activities in one or more of the following areas (or subjects): Mechanical, , Civil, Structural, , Welding, Non-Destructive Examination, Receiving, and Special Processes.Certification to industry recognized standards, such as certification to IEEE, ACI or International Code Council.Company OverviewFounded in 1944, Parsons Corporation, a digitally enabled solutions provider, is focused on creating the future of the defense, intelligence, and critical infrastructure markets.
