Job Description

Next Generation Food Park Implementation Lead Role Purpose Leading the activation and implementation strategy for NEOMs planned Next Generation Food Park (NGFP). Role responsibilities will cover i) master plan co-ordination of NGFP, ii) defining and implementing key value propositions around shared services, tenant and investor recruitment, and ecosystem coordination, and iii) promotion of NGFP through communication packages and presentations. The role will be the primary point of contact with internal stakeholders including regional proponents, Asset Development Teams, Project Teams, and Finance and Business Developments Teams, Introduction NEOM aims at providing opportunities for people to live healthy, productive, and fulfilling lives, while sustainably using the natural resources upon which they depend. NEOM partners with governments, local and international businesses, and knowledge institutes to transform ideas into policy, policy into action, and action into impact. NEOM uses its technical knowledge and experience, passionate staff, local presence, and global influence to make a lasting difference in peoples livability, especially in desert-like conditions in a world facing climate change.As part of this vision, NEOM is planning a Next Generation Food Park that will serve as a state-of-the-art hub for production of plant-based and alternative protein meat and dairy products. The NGFP will provide a vibrant venue and network designed to enable the development of a Food Ecosystem at NEOM. It also be characterized by high sustainability standards (e.g., carbon neutral, water-use efficiency, circular bioeconomy principles, etc.).The N GFP Implementation Lead will be responsible for developing and implementing a strategy plan that will drive d evelopment and activation of the NGFP and its associated ecosystem.Position Description And Responsibilities

  • Support NGFP facility master plan development in partnership with key internal stakeholders including regional proponents, Asset Development Teams, and Projects Teams
  • Establish the major services and value propositions NGFP will provide for tenants and prepare communication packages tailored for specific audiences
  • Report capital spending requests for assigned projects and subsequent tracking in compliance with relevant NEOM guidelines and standards
  • Contribute to the developmental activities of NGFP through market intelligence and opportunity tracking
  • Update on key business trends and new opportunities related to Food Park clusters
  • Propose partnership scenarios that can drive the operation of NGFP and execution of its NGFP services
  • Ensure an attractive, compelling, and comprehensive business case for securing active engagement from key stakeholders
  • Engage with internal cross-functional teams involved in attracting potential partners and investors to NGFP and update on NGFP development
  • Proactive documentation reporting to enable adaptation and access to industry trends and communicate recommendations
  • Ensure high visibility for the development of NGFP and develop attractive brand imaging
Knowledge, Skills And Experience
  • Proactive zeal for NEOMs mission in adopting best practices to achieve business excellence results and in mitigating risks to accelerate organization development and expedite delivery of work packages in form of deliverables.
  • In depth experience in a fast-paced facility building environment including PM experience in leading high-volume CAPEX/OPEX projects.
  • Prior experience with capability seeding and relevant success in transformation portfolios in bringing concepts from pipeline to platform.
  • Extensive knowledge of Food Parks and associated ecosystems with respect to design and tenant offerings
  • Relevant experience working with consultancy agencies, project leads and developing client portfolios.
  • Persuasive negotiation, rapid networking skills and willingness to initiate engagement with players outside and within the ecosystem.
  • A team-player with a minimum of 10 years experience contributing to diverse teams, external and internal stakeholders.
  • Quantitative logical reasoning with troubleshooting skills and effective communicator with strong oral and written presentation skills.
QualificationsMinimum: Post-graduate degree (Master, MBA or PhD) in Supply Chain, Project Management and Analytics or a related business-oriented field. Experience in a multicultural environment is a plus.
