Overview Position Marine Project Management Lead Job Code Reports to Senior Manager Open Water Production Direct Reports Division/Section Aquaculture Department Sector NEOM Food (NF) Job Family Role Purpose We are in search of a highly experienced Marine Project Management Lead to lead and oversee the development of diverse aquaculture projects. By leveraging their extensive knowledge and experience in aquaculture, marine engineering, offshore construction, deployment, and project management, the successful candidate will be instrumental in steering the planning, design, and execution of innovative aquaculture solutions. These include but are not limited to feed barges, vessels, closed-containment systems, traditional net pens, submersible pens, and other pioneering advancements.   • Oversee the planning, design, and execution of diverse aquaculture projects.
  • Coordinate the construction, deployment, and implementation of both offshore and onshore supporting technologies.
  • Lead the development of closed-containment systems, traditional net pens, submersible pens, and other advancements.
  • Manage and mentor a team of professionals in the aquaculture field.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure project goals are met and exceeded.
  • Drive forward-thinking advancements in the rapidly evolving aquaculture industry.
  • Ensure all projects adhere to industry regulations and standards.
  • Monitor project progress and deliver regular updates to senior management.
  • Implement risk management strategies and processes for all projects.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team and organization.
  • Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
Background, Skills & Qualifications Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
  • Extensive knowledge of marine engineering.
  • Proven experience in offshore and onshore construction and deployment.
  • Demonstrated expertise in project management.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent stakeholder coordination and communication abilities.
  • Understanding of the aquaculture industry and its emerging trends.
  • Familiarity with risk management processes in project management.
  • Proven ability to manage budgets and timelines effectively.

Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in Marine Engineering, Ocean Engineering, or related field.
  • Masters degree in a related field is preferred.
  • Professional certification in Project Management (PMP or equivalent).
  • At least 5 years experience in a similar role in the aquaculture or marine industry.
  • Proven leadership experience managing multidisciplinary teams.
  • Experience overseeing large-scale offshore and onshore construction projects.
  • Solid technical understanding of aquaculture systems and technologies.
  • Full Professional Proficiency levels in English. Arabic and Norwegian a plus.
