• Assist with the implementation of the annual business plan and targets and execute the strategic agenda of the security design function to deliver RSG vision and mission.
• Ensure that the design strategy is translated into operational business plans for the security design function and monitor the performance and execution of those plans to achieve functional objectives and deliver the companys strategy.

Budget

• Support to the preparation of the functional budget and track the performance of the budget ensuring capitalizing on opportunities for continuous improvement and waste elimination.

Security

• Responsible for Security Planning, Strategy and Physical Security design.
• Preparation of Security design guidelines and specifications for all RSG sites.
• Establish solid understanding of the projects throughout the project phases via documentation and site visits.
• Attend all relevant meetings to the security discipline as required.
• Review and approval of all threat and risk assessments, Concept and Detailed Master Plans for various projects and ensure the process and physical security design align with RSG guidelines and specs, local regulations / guidelines, international standards, and industry best practices.
• Preparation of bids, specifications, and tendering process for physical security design needs.
• Responsible for end-to-end project considerations for respective programs, leading a team of in-house and contracted staff to implement major projects.
• Be an SME for physical security methodology, treatments, and applications.
• Be an SME for Security Management practices.
• Be well versed with Physical Access Control Systems, methodology and applications.
• Be well versed with Video Surveillance systems, methodology and applications.
• Be well versed with Intruder Detection Systems, methodology and applications.
• Be well versed with security systems hardware, methodology and applications.
• Be well versed with Security Operations Control room, methodology and applications.
• Be well versed in Business Continuity Planning (BCP) and Disaster Recovery Planning (DRP).
• Advise and provide technical support to project teams on all security matters and reviews.
• Ensure that there is adequate liaison and understanding of RSG Security requirements between RSG contractors, consultants, and suppliers.
• Ensure documented construction supervision is undertaken to confirm ongoing alignment with agreed design.
• Ensure the efficient, documented commissioning of all assets from a physical security design perspective.
• To conduct any other reasonable, discipline related duties that are requested.

Policies, Systems, Processes, Procedures, Standards and Reports

• Develop and follow all relevant functional policies, processes, standard operating procedures, and instructions to ensure that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
• Ensure the preparation of accurate and timely functional statements and reports to meet corporate and functional requirements, policies, and standards.

Continuous Improvement

• Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of Security functions systems, processes and practices considering international best practice, improvement of business processes, cost reduction and productivity improvement.

Job RequirementsQualification and Experience:

• Bachelors degree or equivalent in a security related discipline. Masters preferred.
• Minimum 10 years relevant experience required in a project manager and scope/specification development role of a medium-to-large scale project.
• Relevant experience at managing multiple, diverse projects in Middle East required.
• Extensive experience in the security field, specific to Security Planning, Strategy and Physical Security design.
• Extensive experience in the preparation of security design guidelines and specifications.
• Good experience as a security program manager.
• Results oriented leader that possesses strong influencing skill and is comfortable working in a fast-paced and multi-tasking environment, with demonstrated ability to develop and manage a functional team and manage budget.
• Awareness of and ability to demonstrate experience with implementation of best practices related to the utilization of physical security design.
• In-depth knowledge of security procedures and surveillance equipment.
• Be well versed with Physical Security Design Practices.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Demonstrated skills in collaboration, teamwork, and problem-solving to achieve goals.
• Ability to adhere to Company policies, procedures, guidelines, and work requirements.
