Job Description

Overview Position Lead, Systems Integration - Port Automation Sector OXAGON Division/Section Port & Sea Mobility Department Port Operations - Automation Role Purpose The Port of Neom will be one of the worlds most technologically advanced, efficient, and sustainable ports. To build our next-gen port with the first fully integrated supply chain and logistics center, Port of Neom will employ cutting-edge maritime and logistics innovations. All port and warehouse equipment will be fully automated using management systems powered by AI, maximizing direct delivery from vessel discharge to gate, on-dock rail, and warehouses.To achieve this ambitious goal, we are looking for a Systems Integration Lead in the Port Automation team.In this role you will support the implementation of automation by recommending, leading, or supporting integration projects including, but not limited to equipment automation, process automation, real time monitoring, dynamic planning, and predictive planning. This includes engagement with process and project owners to support them during implementation and operation phases.Seamless integration between the container terminal and the automated warehouse is a key deliverable for the Neom Sea Mobility and Supply Chain and Logistics teams. As such, warehouse automation integration is also included in scope, as is incorporating horizontal transport, interfaces between assets, and the support of the integration of terminal and warehousing systems, equipment, and testing.Responsibilities KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & ACTIVITIES

  • Assess existing infrastructure and systems to identify opportunities for upgrade and integration
  • Drive implementation of automation integration layer
  • Lead/manage projects to integrate new automation systems
  • Work closely with vendors to ensure successful implementation of automation integration
  • Support the automation testing team in the testing and validation of new applications
  • Act as an automation integration subject matter expert for process analysis and process design modifications
  • Work with contracted partners on automation integration projects
  • Create understanding of T1 automated port processes and engage in automated port flows and support analysis of the integration with warehouse operations
  • Identify risks and propose mitigation points to the T1 Automation Advisory Team
  • Contribute to the development of relevant working procedures, templates, documents, and standards.
  • Responsible for activities such as requirement gathering, assessing requirements, test planning, analysis, and concept development
  • Demonstrate knowledge of and expertise with the systems being developed or enhanced
  • Contribute to the implementation of Business Intelligence and Artificial Intelligence that will be used for analysis and optimization of the automated processes
  • Accomplish ad-hoc tasks as required

  • Solid experience with integration initiatives
  • Good command of both written and spoken English
  • Effective collaborator who will work with integrated teams to achieve individual objectives and organizational results
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, teamwork, and communication skills
  • Port or supply chain experience is a strong plus
Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in computer science, information technology, engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Relevant years experience in integration role
  • Project Management experience
