Job Description

Overview Position Lead , Business Intelligence - Port Automation Sector OXAGON Division Port / Sea Mobility Department Port Operations - Automation Role Purpose The purpose of Lead, Business Intelligence - Port Automation is to establish and lead or support port automation and integration analysis projects including but not limited to equipment automation, process automation and optimization, real time monitoring, dynamic planning, predictive planning as well as artificial intelligence and machine learning. This includes engagement with process and project owners to support them during the implementation and operation phase.Seamless integration between the container terminal and the automated warehouse is a key deliverable for the Neom Sea Mobility and Supply Chain and Logistics teams. As such warehouse automation integration is also included in scope, incorporating horizontal transport, interfaces between the two assets as well as implementation and integration of terminal and warehousing systems, equipment, and testing. This role will provide data driven analysis of these interfaces to evaluate their behavior and performance.To ensure seamless integration, significant engagement in warehouse automation is anticipated across all automated warehouse workstreams.Responsibilities KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & ACTIVITIES

  • Drive business intelligence initiatives throughout Port Corporate and Supply Chain & Logistics
  • Lead the definition, planning, design and implementation of overall BI and AI solutions
  • Assist in business process design, functional specifications & documentation
  • Understand the business and provide solutions for various analytical needs
  • Identify, develop, manage, and execute analyses to uncover areas of opportunity and present written business recommendations that will help shape operational processes
  • Coach and guide process and project owners in their workstreams, who likely may not have previous BI experience
  • Provide perspective for decision making with sound supporting rationale
  • Adopt emerging technologies such as Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence and develop tools which can help and improve data analysis
  • Perform data driven analysis activities to maintain and improve process control utilization and reliability
  • Develop and apply predictive models, data mining methods, and algorithms to support analysis and improvement of processes
  • Responsible for activities such as requirement gathering, assessing requirements, test planning, analysis, and concept development
  • Act as an automation, integration and AI subject matter expert for process analysis and process design modifications
  • Contribute to the development of relevant working procedures, templates, documents, and standards.

  • Author complex report sets and dashboards, based on multi-dimensional and relational data sources
  • Leverage Tableau, Cognos or similar tools to increase standardization, automation, and efficiency of analytic deliverables
  • Presentation of findings and recommendations to Senior Leaders
  • Demonstrate knowledge of and expertise with the systems being developed or enhanced
  • Configure, or partner with configurators of the solutions being implemented
  • Identify and evaluate current and emerging technologies and tools that are consistent with BI and AI architecture and best practices
  • Help shape the growth of in-house data resources
  • To accomplish ad-hoc tasks when required
Background, Skills & Qualifications Knowledge, Skills and Experience
  • Strong knowledge of BI and BA tools
  • Implementation experience is a plus
  • Effective collaborator and work with integrated teams to achieve individual objectives organizational results
  • Identifies problems and suggests possible, sometimes innovative, solutions
  • Experience in designing and delivering business intelligence dashboards and visualizations
  • Experience working with users new to BI tools applications
  • Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence and its application is an added advantage
  • Knowledge of math and statistics including design of experiments, statistical tests, maximum likelihood estimators is an added advantage
  • Have good command of both written and spoken English
Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in computer science, information technology, engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Relevant years experience in BI/BA
