NEOM is being built from the ground up as a living laboratory incorporating sustainable cities, industries, and communities, with a high standard of living throughout, incorporating technology-based services in health, education, transport, tourism, sport, entertainment, and other fields.NEOMs Education, Research, and Innovation (ERI) Sector brings together the essential elements needed to build strong communities, continuously educate a highly skilled and flexible workforce and drive creation of the industries of the future at NEOM through outstanding research and innovation.The ERI Foundation pillar (sitting alongside the EC-12 schools, talent academy and higher education pillars) led by Executive Director, will support the creation of a vibrant research and innovation (R&I) ecosystem, with initial activities focused on the establishment of flagship Applied Research Institutes (ARIs), the Academy of International Fellows and a variety of strategically targeted research programs.Two ARIs have been approved to date, both focused on key areas of strategic interest to NEOM, namely the Ocean Science and Solutions Applied Research Institute (OSSARI) and the ARI for e-hydrogen and fuels.OSSARI aims to become a leading ocean science research and innovation institute, focused on warm marine ecosystems and with a strong engineering component to develop the vehicles, tools and data analytics to support twenty-first century ocean science and to ensure the sustainability of NEOMs pristine coastal and marine environment.The ARI for e-hydrogen and fuels is part of a linked R&I chain stretching from university research through the ARI to the Enowa Hydrogen Innovation and Development Center (HIDC), NEOMs pioneering green hydrogen production facility and a wide range of hydrogen economy developers and users spanning many NEOM sector interests, including land and marine transport, agriculture, and chemicals.Key Accountabilities & Activities

• Support in field and laboratory experiments.
• Participation in research cruises and coastal field surveys.
• Sample analysis.
• Operation of marine instruments and autonomous vehicles .

• Demonstrated experience on marine research.
• Demonstrated experience on field surveys
• Experience with autonomous vehicles
• Ability to thrive in a start-up environment.
• Team working capacity.

• Marine science, engineering diploma or similar.
• Good communication skills in English
