Job Description

Director - Transformation - Transaction & Project Systems The Director will be r esponsible for the effective management and upkeep of financial systems for transaction processing functionality for NEOM group, subsidiaries, sectors, and regions of NEOM. Key Responsibilities will include:

  • Lead the initiatives for implementation and enhancement of transaction processing and projects systems
  • Support identification of areas of improvement in transaction processing and project systems and the reporting and compliance requirements from such systems
  • Oversee implementation of automated budget monitoring controls and reporting enablement by BI dashboards
  • Define and embed the project structures (program, projects, assets, or similar) for NEOM Group, Subsidiaries, Sectors, and Regions leading to a Unified enterprise-wide project coding
  • Direct and ensure execution of a plan for infrastructure accounting, costing, and review enabled by integration of Oracle Unifier and SAP PS systems and other peripheral non-finance systems
  • Oversee the implementation of unified enterprise-wide projects CBS and WBS coding, leveraging SAP Project System (PS)
  • Define and manage the project financial structure through the implementation of Cost Breakdown Structure across all projects and its integration into Oracle Unifier and SAP PS systems
  • Lead the implementation and delivery of the SAP Business Planning Consolidation (BPC) module for planning, budgeting and, variance reporting enablement
  • Lead on enhancement practices and ad-hoc initiatives related to transactions and project systems
  • Collaborate with the wider Finance team to identify value-creation opportunities
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
  • 15 or more years experience in a similar role with a real estate, construction, sovereign wealth fund, or investments company
  • Extensive knowledge of transactions and project systems (any of them) such as SAP PS, SAP FI, Oracle ERP, Oracle unifier
  • Knowledge of leading finance system implementation initiatives
Qualifications:
  • Post-graduation degree/diploma or equivalent in financial and management accounting and/or Finance
  • Finance, Accounting, and /or FP&A certifications/qualifications (CMA, CPA, CA, ACCA, or similar)
  • Project Management Degree/Diploma or Certificate is a plus
