Abacus Technology is seeking a Systems Administrator to provide technical support for AOC Weapons systems at Al Udeid AB. This is a full-time position.ResponsibilitiesProvide system administration for AOC C2 systems, including Global Command and Control System-Joint (GCCS-J). Perform technical support, O&M, and system administration tasks and activities for GCCS-J suite server, clients, and applications. Recommend courses of action to address any identified deficiencies or shortfalls. Update and maintain as-built systems/server configuration and connectivity drawings, diagrams and documentation, and publish semi-annually. Develop and submit a C2 Systems Administration Monthly Status Report.Qualifications2 years experience performing administrative maintenance on GCCS servers operating at an AOC, SPO, or an AFCENT reviewed and CO approved equivalent. Bachelor s degree in a related field desired. Must be Security certified. Must hold at least one of the following certifications: Oracle Certified Associate (OCA), Oracle Certified Professional (OCP), Linux , and/or Red Hat Certified Systems Administrator (RHCSA). Experience with DoD systems. Experience providing application support for COTS and proprietary applications. Experience supporting both the client and server-side for enterprise systems. Must have experience with hands-on software and hardware troubleshooting. Must be customer service oriented and able to demonstrate strong communication skills and problem-solving abilities. Able to interact professionally with all levels of an organization.
