Job Purpose?Provides necessary HSE support and assistance to the NFPS-I1P1 Fabrication HSE Lead, Client?s Project personnel & Contactor personnel with the aim of achieving project HSE related goals. ?Acts as DOA for HSE Lead when required Job Context & Major Challenge(s)?Works effectively with established and ongoing developing HSE policies and procedures. ?Understands organizational authority and seeks appropriate line management approvals?Works in a highly visible project environment with large capital expenditures and significant schedule execution pressures.?Demonstrates willingness to tackle a variety of tasks in response to evolving business needsKey Job Accountabilities 1.Provides the Fabrication HSE Lead with support and assistance in achieving the below key result areas: 2.Provide support and guidance for HSE / regulatory compliance / performance during the fabrication and construction activities.3.Champion on-site positive safety behaviours and safe working conditions amongst the Contractor and Project team personnel.4.Attend and make contribution to HSE Tool Box Meetings with Contractor?s teams. 5.Monitor and observe Contractor?s activities for comformance to approved Project HSE procedures.6.Intervene and ?stop the work? when unacceptable risk to either personnel, worksite condition or asset is identified.7.Hold safety conversations with personnel when work has been stopped to promote a positive change in behaviour.8.Recognise positive behaviours and actions amongst the Contractor workforce through ?safety conversations?. 9.Develop strong working relationships with Contractor and Sub-contractor HSE personnel and construction Foreman & Supervisors through regular daily interaction.10.Support all Contractor and Company HSE culture programmes, campaigns, initiatives, activity plans and incentive programmes through active participation (eg: 10 Life Saving Rules, Behavioural Based Safety etc)11.Assist in the content development and delivery of in-house Company training, education and information sessions.12.Accepts new challenges to develop personal skillset, understanding of safety management and delivery of agreed outcomes. 13.Adopts and maintains a pro-active approach to the management of risk through clear communication and interaction with Contractor HSE and site workforce. 14.Ensuring high personal visibility on site. 15.Perform daily inspections using ?safety tools? (e.g. JSA?s, PTW compliance check lists, check sheet observation of specific activities). 16.Participate, when required in incident investigation and provide information to the HSE Fabrication Lead. 17.Demonstrates individual flexibility and strong commitment with the ability to work alone if required whilst adopting a ?one team? approach in managing all expected HSE deliverables.
