ROLEShall be responsible and accountable for the implementation and maintenance of the Contract Quality Management Systems in full compliance with Contract requirements. He/she shall report directly to the Sr.QA/QC Manager, to ensure authority and freedom to execute assigned responsibilities.SPECIFIC REQUIREMENT & PERSONALITYAbility to conduct root cause analysis in a business process. Pro-active behaviours required to analyse QA trends and implement strategies to mitigate potential threats, before escalation. Excellent interpersonal & communication skills. Shall be able to form, smoothly interact and motivate a team with the ability to manage change within a matrix type organisation and be assertive.AUTHORITY ACCOUNTABILITIES & RESPONSIBILITIESImplement and maintain a quality system in accordance with SP1171 / ISO 9001 and subjected to regular audits and reviews. Advise, guide and motivate personnel and line management on QA activities and related technical matters. Responsible for organising QA training for all personnel and maintaining accurate real time records. Ensure that personnel are familiar with the fundamental operational systems and have ready access to the procedures describing the Quality Management Systems. Operate an internal audit program utilising qualified personnel independent of the area being audited to determine the effective application of the Quality Management Systems and follow-up effective close out of the deficiencies.Challenges:-Continuously seek opportunities to project the quality philosophy throughout the contract and endeavour to improve the service to Company. Emphasis and work style to be consistently focused on economy, thoroughness, documentation, seeking out and correcting the root causes and setting up the right examples.
