Job RoleLaser Technicians to assist the Dermatologist in the laser treatment for a variety of skin care applications. The responsibilities of a laser technician include evaluating the skin care concerns of a client, conferring with Dermatologist to develop the best treatment plan and applying the laser treatment.Technical Skill?Have an experience in a cosmetic dermatology, laser treatments?have an excellent knowledge of lasers, their physical characteristics, energy sources, type of energy lights and there usage in aesthetic practice (Hair removal, skin rejuvenation/tightening, hyper pigmentation's etc?Ability to analyze skin, determine skin type and identify skin conditions ?Knowledge of contraindications and possible side effects, ways of preventing unwanted effects?have knowledge in skin care, sun protections, pre ? and post procedure skin care?Confer with clients concerning medical history, sensitivities or allergies and determine a course of action. ?Be familiar with action in urgent situations (anaphylaxis, shock etc); should be able to assist doctor in case of cardiopulmonary reanimation
