Job Description

Technical responsibilities:01 Installs, maintains and repairs of all kind of air-conditioning Equipment, such as Split units, packaged units , air-handling units, condensing units, air-cooled chillers, chilled water pumps, fan coil units, 02 Repairs of all kind of controls, controllers, control panel, electrical parts of AC units03 To organize, supervise and attend all breakdown calls of air-conditioning equipment/sites, interact with the client?s Engineers, prepare/ submit reports for the completion of work. 04 Knowledge of all kind soldering and brazing of copper tubing and piping, gas charging, flushing, etc. in an emergency.05 Commissioning of all kind of air-conditioning Equipment, such as such as Split units, packaged units, air-handling units, condensing units, air-cooled chillers, chilled water pumps, fan coil units, 06 Measurement, preparation and documentation of commissioning reports for all kind of air-conditioning Equipment such as Chillers, VRF, Packaged units, etc.07 Knowledge of using all kind of tools needed for the service and maintenance work.Knowledge of using Refrigerant Recovery units, velocity meter for measuring airflow.Knowledge of using pneumatic pressure gauge meter for the measurement of negative and positive pressure inside the air-conditioned space.08 Knowledge of performing diagnostic inspection on all external / Internal components of air-cooled chillers, pumps, air-handling units, motors, and control panels, properly diagnose faults and Identify the requirements of parts, repairs of the same and commissioning of the system.09 Knowledge of performing diagnostic inspection on all external/internal components of VRF units, and rectify all faults and breakdown of VRF units.10 Knowledge of replacing condenser coils for the chillers/packaged units/condenser/evaporator11 Knowledge of over-hauling of open type reciprocating compressor12 Knowledge of replacing all kind of compressor, cleaning, vacuuming, flushing, gas charging, commissioning and handing over successfully.13 Knowledge to read all technical manuals, drawings, and blueprints of control circuits, refrigeration circuits of the air-conditioning equipment and carry out the work as required and instructed. Supervisory Abilities14 To organize, supervise and attend all breakdown calls of air-conditioning equipment/sites, interact with the client?s Engineers, prepare/ submit reports for the completion of work and submit the invoices.15 Preparation , documentation and submission of commissioning reports for all kind of air-conditioning equipment such as Split units, packaged units, air-handling units, condensing units, chillers, etc.16 Having ability and skills to communicate with the client effectively.17 To prepare a PPM schedule for all the sites, and implementation.18 Allocation of manpower for various sites, preparation/submission of service reports. 19 Submission of invoices on time and follow-up of the payment with the client. Interaction with the accounts department and to provide a list of all site expenses on a regular basis.20 Preparation and submission of quotation for the AMC sites for the additional works and the follow-up of the same.21 To implement safety procedures, work quality standard, job card and accountability for each technician and charge hand.22 To prepare and maintain a list of minimum testing tools, medical kits and the inventory of consumables such as refrigerants/nitrogen cylinders/parts, etc. for any emergency.23 To maintain a cordial relationships within the department, with our all customers/clients.
