JOB PURPOSE:To carry out the Electrical Explosion Proof work as per time frame given.KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:Day-to-Day Operationso Apply electrical theory and related knowledge to test and modify developmental or operational electrical machinery and electrical control equipment & circuitry in marine, industrial or commercial plants laboratorieso Assemble and tests experimental motor-control devices, switch panels, transformers, generator windings, solenoids and other electrical equipment & components according to engineering data knowledge of electrical principleso Modify electrical prototypes to correct functional deviations under direction of Ex Motor Supervisoro Diagnose cause of electrical or mechanical malfunction or failure of operational equipment and performs preventative corrective maintenanceo Develop wiring diagrams, layout drawings, and engineering specifications for system or equipment modifications or expansion, and directs personnel performing routine installation maintenance dutieso Plan, directs, and records periodic electrical testing, and recommends or initiates modification or replacement of equipment, which fails to meet acceptable operating standards.o Able to identify explosion proof materials, equipment?s and machineries.o Knows about safety regulations in marine industries.o Work to be executed and meet ODC Quality standardso Obey orders from Ex Motor Supervisor o Requires overtime work, holidays and weekendsQuality, Health, Safety, & Environment o Ensure compliance to all relevant, health, safety and environmental management policies, procedures and controls across the department to guarantee employee safety, delivery of high quality products / service and a responsible environmental attitude.
