Consultant Gastroenterologist (Female only)Job location: OmanSalary: 100K- 120K Per annum + Benefits.Duties and responsibilities:Establish and maintain professional standards for quality of patient care.Perform investigations and management of Gastroenterology patients.Responsible for the smooth running of his/her clinic.Perform collaborative assistance in referral of above type of patients to appropriate facilities for further management.Provide particular expertise in diagnostic and therapeutic flexible endoscopies upper GI Endoscopies, Proctosignoidoscopies and Colonoscopies and expertise in performing liver, stomach, small and large bowel biopsies.Record all data of the patients care in the patients medical record in accordance with the acceptable international standards and Medical Center regulations.Represents the Hospital /Medical Center in the Committee for Gastroenterology related seminars and symposia.Actively participates in any training program or education activity related to Gastroenterology and organized within the Medical Center for training staff and in-service training classes for nursing staff.Perform other applicable tasks and duties assigned within the realms of his/her knowledge, skills and abilities.Condition:This job description is subject to periodic review and may be changed at any time in consultation with the employee.RequirementsQualification Graduate from a recognized medical school with MD or MBBCh or its international equivalent.Western certificates such as American Board, Canadian, UK Membership/Fellowship.Experience:10 years related experience after post-graduation.Clinical Expertise & Services Offered : Upper and Lower EndoscopyDigestive UltrasonographyMedical and instrumental Proctology (FCPR)Diagnosis and Management of functional digestive disordersInflammatory bowel diseases, Celiac disease, Hepatobiliary diseasesTherapeutic treatments ERCPDilatation for StenosisEsophagus Stent*** British, Irish, Scottish, German, Australian, Canadianand American are welcome to apply.
