SummaryThe Regional Logistics Team supports all 8 MENA countries which talabat operate in to deliver excellent customer experience while operating efficiently. As a Sr. Manager Logistics Optimization, you will project manage Specialists and Analysts in the Optimization Team and local Logistics Teams to ensure that decision-making is well informed with data and analysis. You will also establish that operations systems and products are used as efficiently as possible, data is available, clean and expansive for all regional and local stakeholders across countries and propose developments and optimisation to existing tools and their implementations.Whats on Your PlateAs the Sr. Logistics Optimisation Manager, you will be recognized within Talabat in the following key areas:

• Managing and accountable for multiple units (Data, Projects, ICE) within optimisation
• Diving into complex systems and tools, such as dispatching logic, order forecasting, staffing and order flow, running experiments, solving analytical problems and executing solutions with different markets.
• Developing logistics OKRs for Optimisation and set action plans how to reach the targets
• Running analysis, finding the areas of development, identify the best balance between user experience and logistics efficiency
• Solve unique and complex problems with a broad impact on the business, using innovative and conceptual thinking.
• Develop short-term and long-term relieving plans to address issues and counter challenges effectively.
• Ensuring the effective use and rollout of all global company technology, tools and data models across 8 countries. Providing data driven decision on the product roadmap to further enhance efficiency and speed beyond existing technology
• Liaise with internal stakeholders such as Country teams, Central Product operations and Data Science to improve the effectiveness of our process and reporting
• Manage reporting and data availability for faster and more effective decision making for all markets
• Provide the education and understanding around the effective use and definition of all logistics metrics
• Proactively monitor all markets, flagging and resolving issues or complications ahead of time.
• Initiate projects based on business needs and market conditions to drive continuous improvement.
• Manage end-to-end rollouts and changes, aligning with stakeholders and senior management as needed.
• Communicate complex concepts, anticipate objections, and persuade senior executives in local markets.

• Reports to: Director, Logistics Performance & Optimization
• Key stakeholders: Regional Logistics, Local Logistics, Delivery Hero Product Ops, Talabat Product. Q-Commerce

• Bachelors degree. STEM and Economics backgrounds are highly preferred.
• 7-10 years of experience in tech start-ups or operational roles are highly preferred.
• Excellent Analytics and Data driven problem-solving skills are required.
• Proficiency in SQL skills is required.
• Experience with Tableau, Data studio or similar reporting and visualisation tools skills is required.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to drive complex ideas and processes to diverse people across markets and teams.
