Job Description

Within delegated authority, the Supply Chain Planning Associate will be responsible for the following duties:

  1. Support with the development and application of an operations control tower dashboard based in MS Excel, Tableau and DOTS(WFP cloud-based data platform)
  2. Provide end-to-end operational visibility to B&P, the head of supply chain and other heads of unit, using the analytical tools developed; anticipating and flagging potential issues to be mitigated or addressed
  3. Build tailored data analytics and data visualization models & tools to support supply chain decision making by either building on existing tools/frameworks or developing ad-hoc complementing models
  4. Collect and analyze data and put together reports highlighting opportunities for improvement and effective operationalization of supply chain within the area of responsibility.
  5. Perform what-if scenario analyses to support the resolution of ad-hoc issues affecting WFP operations
