Job Description

JOB PURPOSETo implement well-defined standard logistics/supply chain processes and activities to enable effective delivery of goods and services for all delivery modalities.KEY ACCOUNTABILITIESProvide support to logistics operations and activities, following standard processes and facilitating, directly orindirectly, the effective delivery of food assistance to beneficiariesby:

  • Assistingin management of commodity accounting data quality and integrity.
  • Assisting to ensurethe timely confirmation of deliveries are recognized in LESS by posting the good receipts of IBDs, after validating excesses, losses and the consistency and completeness of waybill information.
  • Assists withthe receiptofwaybills from the transporters, and the distribution, monitoring and reporting on waybill capture both in the CO and AOs.
  • Perform hand overof stocks fromGCMFProject toYemen Project.
  • Where required, assist to checkGCMFstock in-Country, andfollow upwith Sales Ordersavailability.
  • Update GCMF trackers (Unsold- SOs -incountry) on daily and weekly basis.
  • Support timely ordering and delivery of commodities and supplies to authorized partners and destinations.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES - PART 2
  • Assist in monitoring inventory management processes to track trends and account for the inventory status from source to beneficiary.
  • Provide support to logistics operations and activities, following standard processes and facilitating, directly or indirectly, the effective delivery of food assistance to beneficiaries.
  • Identify and communicate issues within the unit to the commodity accounting units supervisor.
  • Assist with the generating of consolidated delivery reports after reviewing the stamps, delivery dates and STO and quantity.
  • Verifying waybills against consolidated delivery reports forendorsement.
  • Assist with the review and compiling of waybills according to their electronic archiving number per STO.
  • Assist with the reconciliation of LESS/COMET data as required.
  • Assist towith the preparation, monitoring andtaking actionfor the temporarily extension ofthe SLEDof commodities to support the posting of GRs.
  • Participate in monthly physical inventory checks and reconciliation of PI countstock.
  • Others as required
