Job Description

ORGANIZATIONAL CONTEXT?This?job is?found in WFP Yemen, Aden Offices. Job holder?report to Logistics Officer, a Head of Unit, or the designate.At this level, job holders are expected to take responsibility for completion of a range of processes and activities requiring some interpretation of standard guidelines/practices for all assistance modalities for both WFP and logistics common services. Job holders are able to recommend a course of action to staff at various levels and may allocate tasks to other support staff.JOB PURPOSE?To implement well-defined standard logistics/supply chain processes and activities to enable effective delivery of goods and services for all delivery modalities.?KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • ensure the completely and timely reflection of data in the system.
  • Collect data to analysis, produce various reports to the Area office weekly and monthly.
  • Assist in management of commodity accounting data quality and integrity.
  • Support and Supervise the work of LESS users, by providing advice, guidance also Identify, resolve and provide recommendations when need.
  • Data analysis and reporting.
  • Ensure that, the data entered into the system by staff is accrue and correct.
  • Raise GSM tickets to HQ.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES - PART 2
  • ?Receive waybills from contractors, verify them and register them in the system.
  • following up the HTS records for the outstanding deliveries and follow it up with transporters and colleagues in order to garnet that every single data recorded in HTS is being observed.
  • Providing technical guidance and support to WFP?s staff who is using WINGS system.
  • Ensure lead time are met to solve the technical issues that staff raises.
  • Train the new staff on LESS system.
  • Liaise with external partners of WFP for any support that may need or to resolve the happening issues.
  • Support other logistic departments when there is a need.
  • Others as required.
