Huntsville - AlabamaThe Systems Analyst in this role?will support the System Assessment Directorate (MDA DE/EEA) of BallisticMissile Defense (BMD) Systems Engineering in all aspects of program activities in a system engineering organization. Primary duties include working as an Aegis BMD Element Focal on a team of element functional leads, defining assessment requirements and evaluating test results to characterize the interoperability, capabilities, and limitations of new BMD element deliveries. This position requires excellent written and verbal skills as well as exceptional MS Office skills.More specific responsibilities include:- Serve as an Element Focal identifying testing requirements to assess new BMD capabilities- Coordinate with Aegis product office and communicate Aegis software build incremental capabilities to other members of the system assessment team- Prepare assessment requirements and analysis plans, manage product development timeline and communicate technical and schedule risk- Detail assessment requirements, identify assessment subobjectives, critical assessment conditions, and key test points to provide a body of evidence to make recommendations regarding acceptance of new BMD element software with afocus on the new capabilities- Provide assessment of the capabilities and limitations of new BMDS deliveries and prepare briefings with recommendations for additions to the BMD Operational Capability Baseline- Draft information/decision papers and briefings, and staff meeting charts- Maintain GMB Web Portal Page- Provide graphical and media support, process and track personnel actions, draft award packages, compile and maintain Smartbooks- Receive CDRLs, distribute for comment, forward comments and archive Draft responses to congressional, media, and external agency request for information
