The Systems Engineer in this role will support the Global Deployment Program Office (GDPO) in a SETA capacity to define the baseline requirements for the missile defense system and to integrate them into a Technical Baseline depicting the Phased Adaptive Approach (PAA).SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:Coordinates status and proposed Technical changes in review by stakeholders for approval and participates as the GDPO Point of Contact (POC) in the Systems Engineering Integration CouncilWorks directly with the Warfighter, the Element Programs and MDA/DEE to develop the GD DOORS Technical Baseline Partition, and the constituent Elements (MDA/SN, Navy Aegis BMD, Aegis Ashore and C2BMC) to manage and synchronize activitiesServes as the GDPO POC for the BMDS Requirements Working Group, and as the GDPO member of the BMDS Core Standards Working GroupProvides documentation reviews for the systems level documents developed for the Systems Design, Testing and Fielding of BMDS (e.g., Design Packages, Preliminary Systems Change Notices, and draft Technical Baseline Documents
