Are you an accomplished mechanical engineer with experience on transit oriented work? Do you have plumbing and fire protection design background in the New York City area? If so, Parsons is seeking a Principal Fire Protection/Plumbing Engineer to support the Rail & Transit team.Parsons offers long-term stability and an opportunity to work on signature projects such as our effort on the East Side Access Project. This is an exciting and large-scale project that will dramatically improve the transportation infrastructure of the nations largest commuter rail road. The successful candidate will perform plumbing and fire protection design on rail transit stations and facilities.We like engineers experienced working in a large, diverse, multi-discipline environment with facility plumbing and drainage design, facility fire protection design and wet and dry type systems.A top candidate will have experience with hands-on design of heavy industrial mechanical plumbing systems. Position will be based in New York City with light travel to local field offices.
