Parsons makes the world a safer place.Will support the Targets and Countermeasures (TC) Program Office of Missile Defense Agency (MDA) in all aspects of loads/structural analysis, design, evaluation, and testing of materials and structures. Primary duties will include support to Government Customer during aerospace and missile development, providing coordination, surveillance and oversight of contractor activities in the identification and conduct of required analyses, structural requirements identification, detail design assessments, application of structural design criteria and standards, loads definitions, manufacturing processes, and component and system testing.Review Prime Contractor loads analysis plans and verification approach for feasibility and quality controlsSupport Engineering Reviews at Prime and Subcontractors pertaining to mechanical engineering to ensure quality, communicate issues concerning structures/analysesProvide independent evaluations of dynamic models, forcing functions, and uncertainty factors and assess model-to-test correlationPerform trade studies and assess benefits of materials and structural technologies.Define flight and ground test data requirements, author test plans and reportsIndependently analyze structural capabilities and margins (e.g. analyze bonded and bolted assemblies, lifting and handling operations, and flight dynamics)Communicate and defend plans methodologies, tools and results of analyses to leadershipPrepare for and participate in Failure Review Boards concerning structural failuresReview and provide comments on assigned Prime Contractor Objective Evidence in support of major System Engineering Reviews (e.g. SRRs, PDRs, CDRs)
