IT strategies, and initiatives in utilizing and integrating new technologies that support engineering and construction projects.? As an IT program Manager, you will set direction and manage all aspects of the development and implementationof assigned complex IT projects (i.e, $5M or more), including application development projects, infrastructure or mobilization solutions or a combination of such projects. These projects will require understanding and experience with engineering/construction program and project controls process, capital planning and budgetingprocess, as well their documentation control, construction and contracts management processes.?POSITION OVERVIEW:Determines and develops architectural approaches and solutions, conducts business reviews, documents current systems and developsrecommendations of how to proceed with the evolution of existing applications and the implementation of new application systems,mobilization solutions and infrastructure systems.Handles multiple projects and other responsibilities concurrently and is the primary interface with the user on all matters relating to technical excellence and meeting cost/schedule requirements for ongoing programs or projects and for planned projects, programs or implementation of newor improved technologies.?Monitors project status, progress, quality and deliverables, identifying and resolving questions, issues and problems as they arise. Interfaces withclients in anticipating, identifying and resolving questions, issues, and problems. Supervises the junior technical staff on all projects, providing technical direction and mentoring as well regular performance evaluation and review.Applies deep knowledge of new and emerging Capital Program Management technologies and processes. Provides expertise on the development and use of those technologies. Understandsthe costs and benefits they offer clients and applies that knowledge in recommending when to upgrade an existing technology or implement a new one.
