Dahlgren, VAOpportunityThe Systems Analyst in this role will support system engineering activities for current and future instantiations of the Aegis BMD System. The individual will provide advisory and assistance services on our TEAMS contract supporting the Aegis Weapon System and missiles IA/Cybersecurity activities.More specific responsibilities include:Perform requirements analysis and assessments with a focus on impacts/changing processes associated with the transition from Defense Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation Process (DIACAP) to the Risk Management Framework (RMF)Monitor policy, system and program architecture and threat impacts to IA and Information System Security Engineering RequirementsAnalyze IA threat and vulnerability based on known and postulated threats to Aegis BMD critical assets. Assess the applicability and feasibility of IA and Information Management (IM) technology/upgrades and potential impacts in support of the weapon and/or missile system.Support Program Protection Plan development and provide systems security engineering in implementing the plan.Validate the incorporation of IA security during the design and development of information systems and applications.Coordinate accreditation and certification packages and updates including associated Authority to Operate documentation in accordance with RMF and DoD Instruction 8570.01-M.Coordinate and schedule Element IA certification and penetration activities.
