Huntsville - AlabamaThe Electrical Engineer in this role will?review and integrate electrical requirements, develop and implement plans and specifications during the planning, design and construction project phases in accordance with contractual obligations.Will work tasks in support of government customer.Responsible for the electrical technical engineering project oversight, including review of plans for RFP compliance, constructability and technical correctness.More specific responsibilities include:?Provide electrical QA support including reviewing project plans and specifications during both design and construction phases?Conduct Construction Projects Shop Drawings, RFIs and Submittal Reviews;?Submit comments and recommendations?Through field inspections, verify electrical systems; Routinely provide feedback?Participate in Project Planning and Design Scoping Sessions/Charettes; Provide comments and recommendations?Solve problems relating to construction and installation of electrical equipment and systems?Use practical experience and sound engineering judgment to solve the problems or review suggested revisions made by the designer of record;Routinely provide feedback?Daily and Weekly Meetings as Required?Briefings, White Papers and Reports Preparation (Power Point and Word) as Required?Some travel may be required (2-4 weeks/quarter).
