Job Description

.Position Responsibilities:Maintain testing environment for new releasesExecute the manual test plan of market data server functionalities with respect of deliveries deadlinesWrite/Review market data test plan and scenarios based on client needs and functional specificationsDevelop and document application test plans based on software requirements and technical specifications.Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases (TestLink)Validation plan on Test Link for each release including Non Regression TestPerform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.Investigate and qualify bugs during software releases or patchesMaintain database of software defects.Track and Provide useful traces and resources to development teams when a software bug is detectedProactively highlight any risk or delay on a given delivery or ETA,Push the team to find solutions and alert when necessary Dev & QAEnsure deliveries documentation and guidance for clientsensure database parameters and market data server settings and documentation are up to dateEstimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities.Execute automation scripts using appropriate tools and resources.Contribute in the automation improvementImplement testing best practices and toolsSuggestions and initiatives to improve process and efficiency (tools, steps, process, )Reduce market data server production defects: detect software failures.Participate in planning meetings and specification validation meeting.Provide necessary support when possible: Level 3 support.Position Requirements:Basic knowledge with the QA technics.Basic knowledge on Test automation.A positive, proactive, and professional attitude.problem investigation and analysis skills.Clear communication and alertsGood problem solving, issue resolution and change management skills.Professional attitude, enthusiastic and reliableFluency in English & French (spoken & written).Linux commands and shellWith a 50-year history rooted in the financial services industry, FIS is the world's largest global provider dedicated to financial technology solutions.
