Job Description

Employment: Full Time 1. Water Treatment technician (RO and STP):Experienced in operation and maintenance requirements for all water or wastewater treatment equipment in the designated area or treatment plant, and the ability to resolve operational/breakdown situations as it relates to instrumentation.Responsibilities:Complete assigned operational checks on water treatment systems and completes daily system logs and tests. Report abnormal conditions to Manager.Stops/starts system as required (for repairs, after a fault shutdown/power failure).Troubleshoot, maintain, adjust, repair, replace, and calibrate water treatment system equipment or components having complex interlocking or inter-related circuits.Inspects water treatment systems for leaks.Verifies system temperatures, pressures, levels, flows, voltages, etc.Completes assigned water tests and makes adjustments to the system as required.Compile and maintain all information and documentation relevant to water treatment systems (CMMS, Log Book, change control, update drawings, files, etc.)Determines impact of required work, communicates, coordinates, and supervises major repairs with other facilities staff/contractor and users to minimize service interruption.To work as part of a team with users, facilities staff, and vendors to evaluate the effectiveness of systems in order to make continuous improvements.Work from blueprints, drawings, layouts, or other specifications; locate and diagnose trouble in the water treatment systems or equipment.Recommend and maintain an inventory of spare parts to minimize any downtime on the system.Ensure that all work is performed in full compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices, Standard Operating Procedures, Work Instructions and established safety standardsWorks in a safe manner collaborating as a team member to achieve all outcomes.All other relevant duties as assigned.2. Instrumentation Technician:Responsible for maintaining all aspects of field instrumentation to ensure continuous operation of electronic systems of Water Features and Swimming pools, Sauna, Steam room, and other equipment.Responsibilities:Repair, maintain, specify, select, and install measurement and control equipment such as control valves, analyzers, control system components, indicators, and field transmittersConfigure, backup, and maintain control and monitoring devices and systems to meet process engineering requirements.Install, test, and commission new devices and systemsTest, troubleshoot, and diagnose faults using appropriate equipment, procedures, and instruction manuals, as necessaryDetermines impact of required work, communicates, coordinates, and supervises major repairs with other facilities staff/contractor and users to minimize service interruption.To work as part of a team with users, facilities staff, and vendors to evaluate the effectiveness of systems in order to make continuous improvements.Work from blueprints, drawings, layouts, or other specifications; locate and diagnose trouble in the water treatment systems or equipment.Recommend and maintain an inventory of spare parts to minimize any downtime on the system.Ensure that all work is performed in full compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices, Standard Operating Procedures, Work Instructions and established safety standardsWorks in a safe manner collaborating as a team member to achieve all outcomes.All other relevant duties as assigned.3.Technician (HVAC)Operates, inspects, installs, troubleshoots, and repairs all heating, cooling, ventilation, refrigeration related electromechanical equipment, and HVAC related systems throughout various facilities.Responsibilities:Perform preventative maintenance procedures.Complete PM logs, refrigerant tracking log, maintain safety data sheets log, and collect new SDS, as needed, to keep HVAC SDS logs current.Perform a daily survey of potential problem equipment.Diagnose and repair malfunctions on all heating and air conditioning systems. Repair or replace heating and air conditioning systems and components to include replacement of items such as compressors, reversing valves, fan motors, and electrical components.Procure parts and equipment necessary to complete jobs.Work with senior technicians requiring advanced troubleshooting procedures including calibration of controls, air balancing, and modifications to the HVAC system.Communicate with other technicians and assist, as needed.Update work orders with material usage, repairs, labor and turn in all purchase requisitions and other pertaining paperwork.Maintain inventory of owned tools and equipment.Identify and report needed repairs on equipment. Keep senior lead technician advised of potential problems.Maintain good rapport with customers and advise when repairs are complete.Trains colleagues on various skills and tasks. Acts as a resource or mentor to colleagues and provides general leadership to the team.Performs other related duties as assigned. REQUIREMENTS: Water Treatment Technicians requirements:Minimum 3 years experience in the Water treatment field (reverse osmosis and wastewater treatment plant)Knowledge of established safety procedures and techniques.Knowledge of repairs, maintenance, and installation procedures.Skill working in a collaborative, team-based environment.Knowledge of applicable federal, state, local laws, guidelines, procedures, and codes.Skill in reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams, schematics, and written reference material.Skill in mathematical calculations.Computer literacy would be an advantage for some shop processes and possible internal/external communication (MS Office, Excel, PDF)Willingness to travel and perform customer site work as necessary.With Supervisory skills is an advantage.Instrumentation Technician requirements:Minimum 3 years experience in electronic maintenance experience in repairing, installing, and calibrating instrumentation.Knowledge of established safety procedures and techniques.Knowledge of repairs, maintenance, and installation procedures.Skill working in a collaborative, team-based environment.Knowledge of applicable federal, state, local laws, guidelines, procedures, and codes.Skill in reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams, schematics, and written reference material.Skill in mathematical calculations.Computer literacy would be an advantage for some shop processes and possible internal/external communication (MS Office, Excel, PDF)Willingness to travel and perform customer site work as necessary.With Supervisory skills is an advantage.HVAC Technicians requirements:Minimum 3 years experience including pool heat pumps, heat exchangers, and heatersKnowledge of established safety procedures and techniques.Knowledge of HVAC repairs, maintenance, and installation procedures.Good knowledge of HVAC control systems.Skill working in a collaborative, team-based environment.Knowledge of applicable federal, state, local laws, guidelines, procedures, and codes.General knowledge of HVAC DDC controls system and computer skills.Skill in reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams, schematics, and written reference material.Skill in mathematical calculations.Skill in the use of HVAC tools and equipment including, but not limited to, recovery equipment, vacuum pumps, meters, gauges, oxygen/acetylene torch, and laddersComputer literacy would be an advantage for some shop processes and possible internal/external communication (MS Office, Excel, PDF)Willingness to travel and perform customer site work as necessary.With Supervisory skills is an advantage.
