Job Description

Overview**This position will be physically located in Qatar in support of LOGCAP**

  • Supervises receiving section and their daily functions. Monitor incoming, requested item, material and equipment. The receiving specialist reports directly to the SSA Supervisor.
ResponsibilitiesThis position description is subject to change at any time as needed to meet the requirements of the program or company.
  • Establishes and maintains automated and manual accounting records, posts receipts and turn-ins, and performs dues-in and dues-out accounting.
  • Reviews and verifies quantities received against bills of lading, contracts, purchase requests, and shipping documents. Maintains stock locator system and administers document control procedures.
  • Processes receipts documents. Store customers items when necessary, prepare customer issue, and issue customers there supply.
  • Overseas the receiving section and daily function, and provide technical assistance. Identify material with incorrect, incomplete, or absent documents by researching computerized manufacturer catalogs, supply publications, or other similar resources
  • Establishes and maintains documents such as signed copies of MROs, storage bin ticket issued to storage, shipping, and issuing section.
  • Maintain and administers document control procedure.
  • Correct error and exception reports.
  • Operates material handling equipment (MHE).
Qualifications
  • Minimum Qualifications: Education/Certifications: One year related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required.
    • Must be CAC eligible and/or able to obtain a Common Access Card (CAC)
    • High School Diploma or Equivalent is required; Associates are preferred.
  • Proof of COVID-19 Vaccination:
    • To be qualified for this position you must comply with USCENTCOM MOD 16 that requires proof that you are fully vaccinated for COVID-19, as defined by the CDC or host country requirements. As of now, to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 you must have received either two doses of Pfizer BioNTech Vaccine, two doses of AstraZeneca/Oxford Vaccine, two doses of Moderna Vaccine, or one dose of Johnson & Johnson Vaccine, and two weeks must have elapsed after the final dose was administered. This definition may change in accordance with CDC guidelines. Compliance with this government requirement is an essential function of the position and is a condition of employment.
  • Experience:
    • Required to have extensive computer knowledge in order to understand the Global Combat Support Systems data base. Must have knowledge in classifying and specifying supplies.
    • Must be able to perform daily task with accuracy speed and precision. Should have excellent oral and written communication skills; at least 8 years working experience in stock control and / or at least 5 years working in an U.S Military / Army warehouse environment.
  • Skills:
    • Candidates must be familiar with Global Combat Support Systems.
    • Experienced and knowledgeable in the policies and procedures of Army regulations AR 720-2, and Department of the Army Pamphlets 710-2-1 / 710-2-2 and all other applicable regulations pertaining to stock accountability.
  • Working Environment:
    • Must be capable of working in an extreme weather conditions with temperatures exceeding 120 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Physical Requirements:
    • Must be able to lift/push/pull 50 lbs. Must be capable of working in an extreme weather conditions with temperatures exceeding 120 degrees Fahrenheit. 48 hours (6 days @ 8 hours a day) is the standard work week. This position requires flexibility in work hours.
