Job Description

As the Service Manager, you are a direct connection between the customers, service team and suppliers and will be responsible for delivering excellent service to customers.This is a large operation that provides major and minor servicing for all vehicles including trucks and trailers, light commercial vehicles, vans, cars and SUVs. In this role you will manage the operation of the vehicle workshop ensuring vehicle compliance, safety and budgetary control.The successful applicant will have a passion for customer service, effective time management and communication skills. You will be a strong leader who can motivate a team while creating a positive working environment for the business.Responsibilities:

  • Manage all facets of the day-to-day operations of the service department in an efficient and safe manner.
  • Have the ability and experience to expand and set up new workshops.
  • Maintain Company policies & procedures and ensure that quality standards & KPIs are achieved.
  • Ensure vehicles tasks are completed correctly and within specified time.
  • Look for ways to minimize operational costs without compromising standards of service.
  • Oversee and mentor staff members while keeping workshop in clean and tidy state.
  • Ensure all workshop operations are completed to professional standards.
