Job Description

Ensure and review risk management compliance related to ProjectsCompetently deliver any technical project control / risk management requirementsArrange planning workshops / meetings to discuss and assist Contractors / Consultants to close their risk / planning / project control issuesPrepare risk assessment and mitigation plansAssist with the development and the implementation of the Risk Management process as defined in the Project Risk Management PlanMaintain and populate the IRMS (Integrated Risk Management System) database with risk related informationAssist in the production of the risk reporting documentsAssist in the building of the quantitative risk models to be developed on scheduleParticipate upon Risk Manager request to the risk meetings organized on the projectWorking knowledge of Pertmaster, or Oracle Primavera AnalysisBroad knowledge with Project ManagementMaintain and populate the IRMS (Integrated Risk - Management System) database with risk related informationAssist in the production of the risk reporting documents - Assist in the building of the quantitative risk models to be developed on scheduleParticipate in risk meetingsProvide support to the Senior / Project Controls Manager where required on project control mattersProvide regular progress reports REQUIREMENTS: Minimum of 10 years post graduate experience with experience in major infrastructure projects or programmes; preference will be given to roads, aviation, structures or rail related experienceDemonstrable track record in the delivery of large multidisciplinary projectsIn-depth knowledge of project controls / risk management proceduresProject Risk Management knowledge and understandingTechnically proficient in all aspects of project controls / risk management such as QRAs to manage Programme and Project(s) schedule & cost outturns, risk workshops, planning, analysis and managing risk processesEffective in building good working relationships within complex structures, both internally and with various project stakeholdersUniversity degree from a recognized university in an appropriate field such as Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management or Construction Management or equivalentExcellent communication skills in English, written and spokenEvidence of suitable professional qualification PMI-RMP or equivalent is preferableMasters degree in a relevant field is an advantageArabic language skills is a plusDrivers LicenseYou can get to know more about QPM by visiting our website www.qpm.com.qa.
