Job Description

TAX Free Contractual Job opportunity has just been made available for an experiencedTransportation & Installation Engineer by a leading oil and gas operator to be based in Qatar.JOB DIMENSIONS

  • The Project T&I Engineer is responsible for the Modules? transportation and installation activities for F-DBN Project covering also in particular Marine, Lifting, Survey positioning and Load-out activities.
  • The T&I Engineer will manage all activities concerning the T&I up to completion of installation.
  • During the course of the T&I execution he/ she will define and manage dedicated onshore and offshore to cover all the phases of the T&I activities, including but not exclusive of aspects related to Marine, Lifting, Survey positioning and Load-out activities in close coordination with Project Lead and functional entities.
  • T&I engineer responsibilities will also include the Management of all Marine Warranty Surveyor?s activities.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
  • Qualification: Bachelor?s degree or equivalent in engineering,
  • Experience: At least 15 years? experience in the offshore oil & gas project with minimum 10 years? experience as T&I Engineer,
  • Experience of similar project during construction phase at yard will be a plus.
  • Experience within a project team: At least 5 years? experience within large multinational taskforce team environment.
  • Track records of offshore attendance during topsides modules installation,
  • Available for technical missions worldwide,
  • Familiar with Total General Specifications, standards and relevant codes and standards,
  • Language: Fluent English,
  • Computer literate,
  • Strong leadership skills and good communication skills,
  • Ability to work on projects in a complex and multicultural environment,
  • Good analytical skills,
  • H2S OPITO and T-BOSIET trainings
