Job Description

About this role:

  • Shall have effective oral and written communication and interpersonal skills in the English
  • Shall be computer literate and conversant with basic Microsoft office applications
  • Shall be able to read and interpret Infrastructure system drawings
  • Know how the use of computer-based permit to work system workflows would be preferred
  • Troubleshooting, fault analyzing, Installation, Configuring, and repairs skills are required
  • Identifying the root cause of problems and taking steps to prevent a reoccurrence of incidents
  • Generate weekly incident or assigned task reports
  • The ability to use and operate a personal computer, digital multimeter, OTDR test set and other tools and equipment used in the installation, maintenance, and operation of Infrastructure Telecom systems.
What you need to bring:
  • Minimum 5 years experience out of which at least 2 years should have been in an oil and gas industry with hands on experience in maintenance of plant Infrastructure Cabling system (Fiber and Copper), Field Telephones, Hotlines, Cisco IP Telephony & Collaboration System, AV System, SSL System, OTN / DWDM System etc
  • Diploma in Electronics / Computer Engineering from a reputed University or recognized equivalent to a minimum
  • Having training & certification in Infrastructure cabling system (Cable testing / Splicing), Cisco Unified Communication System and OTN System would be preferable.
