Job Description

m2r Education are working with Al Khor International School, one of the largest co-ed international schools in the Middle East. They need a Technology and Learning Senior Officer for an August 2022 start.Owned by one of the largest natural gas-producing companies in the world, they school was established to cater primarily for the children of its employees and is located approximately 40Km north of Doha.Over 4,000 students aged between 3 and 18 from 45 countries, are taught across five buildings, by a dedicated and skilled team of 500+ academic staff, and are supported by a team of more than 50 administrative staff.The successful candidate will be a talented and dynamic professional with the ability to transform business problems into delivery of IT solutions. This is an excellent opportunity to join a friendly and welcoming community in one of the leading international schools in the region.Experience:

  • Advanced knowledge of SharePoint administration
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Teams administration
  • Experience in web-development and programming
  • Knowledge of Microsofts Power Platform (i.e. PowerApps, Power BI, Automate)
  • Experience in managing a VLE system.
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office 365 applications.
  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud
  • Knowledge of the education sector is desirable.
  • 3-5 years of experience in designing online learning materials, web design, or programming.
  • Strong communication and people skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • High level of cultural awareness and sensitivity.
Requirements
  • BSc Computer Science or similar
  • Experience in a similar international school setting
  • Ability to join in August 2022
