Skills & Responsibilities :
Operation, maintenance and troubleshooting
Ability to communicate and interact effectively with various levels of staff equipment manuals, work orders, etc.
Ability to read and understand oral and written instructions in English, e.g., MSDS directions, chemical product labels.
Ability to lift and move heavy objects regularly (Minimum 60 lbs.)
Ability to climb steps and ladders and work on roof tops and other high areas.
Ability to work with required safety and personal protective equipment.
At least Vocational Diploma / ITI
Must have 2 to 5 years work experience
Basic computer skills is sometimes required
To build and maintain an effective and supportive working relationship with members of the team and colleagues.
To work as part of the engineering team, providing a high-quality engineering service as part of a Total Facilities Management service.
Ensure that you attend regular training and ensure your own Health and Safety and that of those working around you.
Work within a culture of customer service and the meeting of SNCL values.
Develop own skills by fully utilizing the onsite technical information.
To help identify methods that will offer cost savings and efficiencies.
To work within the Quality systems for the maintenance department.
To provide comprehensive maintenance service as detailed within the contract.
To take an active role in helping to ensure that reactive and preventative maintenance is carried out within SLA.
To provide regular updates to your supervisor.
To assist in the identification of system spares/equipment across the estate.
To undertake personal training and development as required meeting the change in service needs of the department.
Required to work in all areas of maintenance activity that are frequently hot, humid, exposed, at heights, uncomfortable and sometimes unpleasant.
