Job Description

Technical Support Technicians ? Rollout (FTTx Migration & Rollout Support)General Scope of Work

  • Required by Active Deployment Team
  • All Types of Miscellaneous Support Activities.
  • Rack installation, includes equipment?s servers, chaises etc.
  • MDF & Fiber ODF?S
  • Cable ladders, for power ac and dc.
  • Runway & cable tray works for fiber and copper
  • Copper cable works.
  • Tag blocks, patch panels and ODF?S
  • Rearrangements.
  • Providing earth distribution.
  • Assist in planned diversion & migration such as cabinet, racks, ODF?s, MDF?s.
  • MDF, cabinet and rack expansion.
  • Subscriber cable, fibers layouts, rearrangements.
  • Patch cord laying, testing and termination.
  • Fiber related activities.
  • RLU?S MDF and ODF records and labeling with all type of patchings and testing.
  • RLU and telecom room cleaning.
  • Recovering old equipment.
  • Dismantling unused racks and equipment.
  • Transport recovered to main stores.
