Job SummaryWe require certified Structural Welders to perform high-quality welding on structural steel members. The ideal candidate will be proficient in various welding processes and committed to adhering to strict safety and quality standards.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform skilled welding on structural steel members in accordance with project drawings and specifications.Set up welding equipment and select the correct methods and materials.Ensure proper preparation of workpieces, including fit-up and cleaning.Maintain a high standard of weld quality and pass all qualification tests.Strictly adhere to safety procedures, including the use of PPE and hot work permits, often in challenging environments.Qualifications & ExperienceCertified welder with a valid trade certificate and process-specific certifications.3-5 years of experience in structural welding, preferably in an industrial setting.Ability to pass welder qualification tests as required.Physical fitness to work at height, in confined spaces, and in demanding conditions.Knowledge of different steel types and appropriate welding consumables.
