  • The Assistant Stewarding Manager reports to the Executive Steward.
  • The Assistant Stewarding Manager ensures proper usage and preventative maintenance of all machinery and equipment, maintains an inventory of supplies while adhering to budget.
  • To maintain the areas for which you are responsible to the highest standards of cleanliness and to ensure that they are in an orderly manner.
  • To ensure that all equipment for which you are responsible is stored and provided to the various outlets in the highest standard of presentation and in a hygienic manner.
  • To maintain par stocks of all items, as agreed, and to ensure that breakage?s are kept to an absolute minimum.
  • To ensure absolute compliance with the legal and Hotel requirements with regard to fire, health and safety and with particular reference to hygiene.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills
  • Excellent English language skills both written and verbal
  • Four to six years of experience in a similar position
  • Strong supervisory and managerial skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and problem solving skills
