Job Description

About this role:

  • Responsible to analyze, determine root cause failure and recommend remedial solutions to ensure proper troubleshooting of reported problems on static equipment
  • The senior mechanical engineer is required to support maintenance, asset integrity, operations, with their daily activities, manage the concept/FEED/EPC design work for asset development projects carried out by Contractors and that are managed in-house, provide all asset related inputs to major project team with respect to mechanical static equipment.
What you need to bring:
  • Bachelors in mechanical engineering A chartered engineer is preferred or working towards it
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in oil and gas onshore / offshore industry both brownfield and greenfield that include a minimum of 7 years in facilities design front-end, conceptual, and detailed design) and minimum of 2 years in project execution including construction, commissioning, operation and maintenance (including field troubleshooting)
  • Computer literacy- Ability to operate standard computer software such Microsoft applications
  • Well conversant with Mechanical design software such as Pvelite & CodeCal or equivalent and international codes and standards
  • Logic thinking and analytical skills
  • Good presentation, communication, and written skills Interpersonal ability to work in multidisciplinary teams Aptitudes for taking initiatives
  • Working knowledge of company business processes and regulatory requirements
  • Managing and measuring work using appropriate metrics and key performance indicators.
